Elevating Latin Representation in Climbing – Capturing Community and Inclusivity.
Challenge
Escalemos is non-profit community that is committed to building and strengthening Latine representation in the climbing and outdoor spaces. Escalemos hosted two activations sponsored by Arc'teryx and climbing gym Sender One: one meet-up focused on climbing while the other was a trash pick-up in Southern California. Our charge was to capture and provide photo and video production for the cross-brand activation.
Approach
Through live social-first event videography and photography, we captured Arc'teryx’s gear, Sender One’s facilites, and Escalemos climbing community.
The visual narrative focused on:
Spotlighting the diversity of participants and the welcoming atmosphere fostered by Escalemos, Arc'teryx, and Sender One.
Highlighting apparel, physical space, and event activities in a way that evoked the adventurous spirit of all the brand partners.
Capturing candid moments of interaction and connection among event attendees to highlight the shared passion for the outdoors.
The imagery featured vibrant tones to evoke the Latin cultural representation while maintaining a modern aesthetic aligned with the brands’ identities. Deliverables included a mix of still images and short-form videos for social platforms, blending storytelling with promotional appeal.
